Aid for AIDS of Nevada - AFAN

AfanAid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) provides support and advocacy for adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada.  AFAN works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice and the stigma associated with the disease. www.afanlv.org

American Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses - ASORN

asornThe Apothecary Shops is a proud corporate sponsor of the American Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses (ASORN). By supplying educational grants, guest speakers and clinical information we are able to help ASORN achieve their mission of fostering excellence in ophthalmic patient care. Arizona AIDS Drug Assistance Program - ADAP

ADAPADAP provides access to medications used to treat HIV and prevent the onset of related opportunistic infections to low-income individuals with HIV disease who have limited or no coverage from private insurance or Medicaid. ADAP currently receives funds from two sources: Ryan White Treatment Modernization Act Part B and state funding. The Apothecary Shops is proud to be the exclusive provider of Ryan White Part A and Part B medications dispensed through the state of Arizona ADAP. www.azdhs.gov/phs/hiv/adap.htm

Aunt Rita’s Foundation

Aunt RitasAunt Rita’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven non-profit charity whose singular focus is to raise money for and distribute equally to, Central Arizona agencies that either have programs to prevent HIV/AIDS or assist those living with HIV/AIDS. www.auntritas.org

Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF)

Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS (formerly Body Positive)

Body PositiveThe Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS is a non-profit research and resource center based in Phoenix, Arizona. It is the largest clinical trial, education, behavioral health and nutrition support center dedicated to fighting HIV and AIDS in the Southwestern United States. Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research

ssbtrStudents Supporting Brain Tumor Research (SSBTR) was founded in 2002, shortly after three students, from the Paradise Valley School District, died from brain tumors. When research pointed out that, other than leukemia, this particular disease was the number one cancer killer of teenagers, a decision was made to do something about it. The organization continues to help raise awareness about brain tumors and other related health issues. www.ssbtr.org

Trans OhioThe Apothecary Shops is a proud sponsor of TransOhio, an organization that serves the Ohio transgender and ally communities by providing services, education, support and advocacy which promotes and improves the health, safety and life experience of the Ohio transgender individual and community.
