Bravelle®
Bravelle (urofollitropin) is a highly purified preparation of human follicle stimulating (FSH) extracted from the urine of postmenopausal women. Each vial contains 75IU of FSH. Bravelle in conjunction with hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is indicated for ovulation induction in patients who have previously received pituitary suppression.

Cetrotide®
Cetrotide 0.25mg, Cetrotide 3mg
Cetrotide (cetrorelix) is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone with antagonistic (blocking) activity. Cetrotide is used to prevent premature ovulation/LH (luteinizing hormone) surge in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation. The Cetrotide 0.25mg is a daily dose given for a number of days to be determined by your physician. The Cetrotide 3mg (single dose) controls the LH surge for up to 4 days.

Clomiphene Citrate
Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid/Serophene) is an ovulatory stimulant. It is indicated for the treatment of ovulatory dysfunction in women desiring pregnancy. Clomiphene Citrate is used to induce ovulation, to correct irregular ovulation, to help increase egg production and to correct luteal phase deficiency.

Crinone 8% gel contains 18 single dose vaginal applicators per box. Each prefilled applicator contains one premeasured dose of the hormone progesterone. Crinone is indicated for the treatment of infertility associated with progesterone deficiency.

Follistim AQ®
Follistim AQ Cartridge for use with the Follistim Pen
Follistim AQ 75 IU and 150 IU Vials
Follistim (follitropin beta) contains human follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) that is manufactured using recombinant DNA technology. Follistim AQ cartridge is a prefilled, premixed recombinant gonadotropin. Packaged in 300 IU (international units), 600 IU and 900 IU cartridges, the Follistim Pen allows the user to dial a specific dose in 25 IU increments from 50 IU to 450 IU per subcutaneous injection. Follistim AQ 75 IU and 150 IU vials are packaged in 0.5cc premixed aqueous vials for subcutaneous or intramuscular administration. It is indicated for the development of multiple follicles in ovulatory patients participating in an assisted reproductive technology (ART) program. It is also indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure.

Gonal-F®
Gonal-f (follitropin alpha) is a highly purified form of human follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Gonal-f is manufactured using recombinant human DNA technology. Gonal-f is packaged in monodose vials of 75 IU (international units) and Multi-Dose vials containing 450 IU. Each vial of Gonal-f contains powdered medication with prefilled syringes of diluent. Gonal-f Multi-Dose vials use specifically marked syringes to draw up the correct dose of medication, and inject subcutaneously. The Gonal-f RFF Pen is a disposable, premixed prefilled pen-like medication delivery system. Gonal-f RFF Pen is supplied in 3 strengths, 300 IU, 450 IU and 900 IU. It is indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure. It is also indicated for the development of multiple follicles in the ovulatory patient participating in an assisted reproductive technology (ART) program.

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)
Pregnyl and Novarel contain human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). HCG is a naturally occurring hormone produced by the placenta. It is indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in the anovulatory, infertile women in whom the cause of anovulation is secondary and not due to primary ovarian failure.

Luveris®
Luveris (lutropin alfa for injection) is a recombinant human luteinizing hormone (rhLH). Each package of Luveris is comprised of a vial of powdered medication containing 82.5 IU (International Units) and a 1cc vial of Sterile Water for injection, USP (diluent). After mixing the powdered Luveris with the 1cc of diluent, the product will deliver 75 IU of rhLH. It is formulated for subcutaneous injection.

Microdose Leuprolide
Leuprolide Acetate (Lupron®) is related to a naturally occurring hormone called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Leuprolide Acetate has also been used to treat endometriosis, uterine fibroids, early puberty, and as part of the process to stimulate multiple eggs for assisted reproductive technologies. The pharmacist according to the physician’s instructions compounds Microdose Leuprolide. Microdose Leuprolide is commonly prepared as the 40mcg/0.1ml or 50mcg/0.1ml. These preparations are a diluted concentration of the prescription Leuprolide Acetate 1mg/0.2ml.

Ovidrel PreFilled Syringe®
Ovidrel® (choriogonadotropin alfa) is a highly purified form of recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin (r-HCG). It is indicated for the induction of final follicle maturity and early luteinization in infertile women who have been pretreated with FSH medications as part of an assisted reproductive technology program (ART). It is also indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure. The premixed, prefilled syringe contains 250 mcg of r-hCG in a 0.5cc solution.

Progesterone in Oil Injection-50mg/ml

The pharmacists commonly prepare Progesterone suppositories in strengths of 100mg and 200mg vaginal suppositories.

Sildenafil Citrate (Viagra®) Suppositories
The pharmacist, using sildenafil citrate (Viagra) tablets, compounds the medication into suppositories to be used vaginally. The commonly prepared strength of the suppository is 25 mg.

Synarel (nafarelin) is a synthetic preparation that is similar to gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) that our body makes.
