The Apothecary Shops offers a variety of advanced skin-care products to treat, correct and prevent various dermatological conditions. Whether your practice treats skin diseases (i.e. Psoriasis, Eczema, Cancers, Acne, Rosacea, alopecia, warts) or cosmetic dermatology (i.e. Anti-aging, Laser treatments, chemical peels, Acne, Rosacea), The Apothecary Shops has compounds to fit each type of practice.

Through our unique relationship with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aestheticians and other skin-care professionals, we continue to expand our knowledge of skin and skin health with specialized treatment options. We can prepare gels, creams, ointments, solutions, occlusive pastes, and anything else you can think up to creatively treat your patients.

Below is a sample of compounded products for our dermatology practitioners. Our pharmacists and compounding laboratory staff are always available to consult with you about a prescription, and our products also undergo analysis from an independent laboratory (Analytical Research Laboratories, Oklahoma City, OK) to ensure their potency, stability and safety.

Triamcinolone with Camphor, Menthol and/or Phenol
For pruritus, especially for chronic cases

GROOT Cream
For bleaching and tightening, especially of the face

Glycolic, Lactic or Trichloroacetic Acids
For in-office chemical peels

Lactic and/or Salicylic Acids
For wart removal, delivered in a water-resistant, flexible, occlusive base.

Anti-Infectives
(Metronidazole, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Fluconazole, Amphotericin)
For any topical infections of the skin, nails, scalp, and/or mucous membranes

Anesthetics
(Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Benzocaine, Prilocaine)
For anesthesia due to pain or for use prior to a procedure. Combinations of creams (i.e. Benzocaine, Lidocaine and Tetracaine) can also be compounded.

Anti-Inflammatories
(Ketoprofen, Ibuprofen, Diclofenac)
Available in various topical delivery systems and customized dosages

Retinoic Acid
Available in customized strengths from 0.001% to 0.3%

Hydroquinone
Available in various strengths up to 10%

Kemistry

The Apothecary Shops has earned a reputation for developing new dermatology products. One newly offered product is Kemistry, our premium skin-care line designed to reduce the signs of aging. The two products, Kemistry Eye and Kemistry Night, are now available exclusively at The Apothecary Shops. Developed by pharmacists at The Apothecary Shops, the Kemistry skin care and wrinkle-fighting system uses naturally based ingredients and the latest skin-care science developments to reduce signs of aging, including wrinkles and fine lines. Kemistry works as an excellent moisturizer and is designed to show real improvements in skin texture and appearance within 30 days. Both the Eye and Night products use no artificial colors, fragrances or dyes and are safe to use for nearly all types of skin.

Kemistry Eye is designed for use in the day or nighttime to improve skin tone and firmness and smooth fine lines around the eye area. The key ingredients include an Arginine/Lysine Peptide Complex, Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid. It is available in a 0.5 oz container.

Kemistry Night is recommended for nighttime use to rejuvenate facial skin, stimulate collagen and elastin, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The key ingredients are Tripeptide-1, DMAE, Hyaluronic Acid, and Sodium DNA and Sodium RNA. It is available in a 1 oz container.
